Bulk Table Editor vs 2.2.4 and newer contains a checkbox to view description. In addition to description you can see the ID and SKU for a product or variation. Check the View description to show this information and uncheck to hide. The X icon to the right of description is to hide this again.
TIP: Double click name (column) anywhere in the table to show hide this information per product/variation.
