If you are using the Google Listings & Ads (Google for WooCommerce) plugin for WooCommerce to sync your products with Google Merchant Center, our plugin can seamlessly utilize the GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) that this plugin manages.
Configuring the Barcode Field for Google Listings & Ads
To ensure compatibility and accurate data synchronization with Google Merchant Center, you can set up our plugin to use the GTIN stored by Google Listings & Ads. Follow these steps to configure your barcode field:
- Locate the GTIN Field:
- Google Listings & Ads stores the GTIN value in a custom field with the meta key
_wc_gla_gtin
. This field is automatically populated when you provide GTIN information for your products in WooCommerce.
- Google Listings & Ads stores the GTIN value in a custom field with the meta key
- Select the GTIN Field in Our Plugin:
- In our plugin settings, choose the Barcode Field (Product Field) option.
- Add:
_wc_gla_gtin
to use the GTIN from Google Listings & Ads. - Check the Use barcode checkbox (ON)
- Select: UPC-A (GTIN-12) as barcode type.
- Save Your Settings:
- Click Save Changes to ensure that our plugin correctly retrieves and uses the GTIN data for your products.
